Bread Fixing Cartel...

hey have u heard about the bread company that was fined R99 million because of bread fixing prices... they referring to them as bread price fixing cartels... cartels sounds so mafiaish... i mean how dangerous can they be..and when they have a conference with all the cartels...do the oil price fixing and the russian mob laugh at the bread cartels...

I had about it and it looks like the unions are sueing Tiger Brands for the price fixing.. It is a huge saga and the worst is that our Governor Ms Tito is envisaging increasing the interest rates too in December. to think that it took more than 10 years for anyone to find this out...

I believe there were three companies that were involved and one of them blew the whistle... now u have to ask why did they do that..its good that they did because people are being robbed even for just trying to buy bread... but i would like to know why Premium (i think that was the company) said something now... because no-one was aware about it and its not as if there was an investigation... they just came forward from the goodnesses of their hearts..i think not... and they are not being fined any penalities because they came forward...

Maybe it is one that had the least voice and as a result to ensure that it is being recognised and heard they blew the whistle.. Why is it only Tiger Brands that is being mentioned with regard to the the R999m that has to be paid, i must have missed sumting there.. Who is this P company...?

Its a lesson to many that are playing with consumers.. am sure they are watching and getting scared.. it could be a practise by the company that we aint aware of..
